The house is a couple of centuries old and has been sympathetically restored with love, retaining its original character of a traditional, yet unique, white village house.
Casa de los Azulejos, is more than just accommodation, it is an experience!
You enter the property and the first thing that meets your eyes is an array of ornate tiles enticing you into the property. To the right you have a restored chesterfield next to a large wood burner that keeps the whole house warm in the cooler months. On glancing to your left, the large kitchen invites you to try your hand at some Spanish cuisine. A large oak dining table, sits in the middle of the newly built traditional terracotta Kitchen. There is a large double ceramic sink that sits proudly in front of a window which gives you a stunning view of the village street and beautiful Mount Maroma, forever changing with the light and cloud formation, a view that never gets old (the photos speak for themselves).
The kitchen opens up into a spacious hallway which in turn, turns into the snug room (TV room with a large smart TV).
Upstairs a Large master bedroom boasts a Kingsize bed and Juliette balcony that also looks over Mount Maroma and the sea. A vanity area, as well as a daybed/sofa for lounging on, adds to the comfort that this spacious room provides. The second bedroom has two single beds and two arm chairs. A room divider is also provided for privacy.
Unique features restored: On the floors and walls, we have counted 33 different types of original tiles, laid throughout the house and the outdoor terraces. The ceilings are adorned with wooden beams, some of which we have stripped back to their former glory. The walls and floors feature areas of mountain bedrock, which is an integral part of the house, its structure and the village.
3 Outside terraces:
The front terrace next to the kitchen is perfect for dining alfresco.
The side terrace sits under a cool sail to provide shade perfect for an afternoon nap
The back terrace is south facing and has views of both sunrise and sunset. It also has a dip pool and sun lounger perfect for cooling off at any time of day.

*The original stairs have also been kept and this short staircase may be quite steep for some people.
* Situated behind the house is a cliff and an area of public land with a viewpoint, which has an amazing view. Please be aware that this area is not fenced and children should be supervised.
